Steampunk Revolvers

Created by me in February 2012. The photo is one of a matching pair of steampunk revolvers made from a plastic gun base, rusty rifle cartridges, brass gears/cartridge casings/widgets, copper wire, MANY layers of copper paint, and a few secret ingredients. =)

Captain Bill Bill , master of steampunk weapons-making of the Venusian Airship Pirate Trading Company complimented me on this, my very first effort at gun modification! I was thrilled, to say the least.

Making the pair took me over 20 hours of active work, and I had many more ideas for them which I did not have time to complete before Anachrocon 2012. Perhaps on the next pair, which I intend to make from scratch....
